Installing Canopy Zip Lines

The installation of a canopy tour is a precision process as well as an art form. Detailed planning and project management are essential to preserve the natural environment. At every step, we look to leave the smallest footprint possible. We are experts at installing in trees.

  • Stage I: Site selection and thorough survey
  • Stage II: Environmental ground work including tree felling and brush clearing.
  • Stage III: Termination stations are staged (trees, towers, ground-based structures). Access is made with technical tree-rigging equipment and only necessary branches are removed. No intrusions are made to the trees at any time.
  • Stage IV: Lines are hung in the trees by way of feeding along the course through pulleys, from central staging areas.
  • Stage V: Calibration and testing to ensure each traverse works perfectly, individually and in connection with the course as a whole.
  • Stage VI:  Once the course pitch has been fine-tuned, platforms and bridges are installed.  The very minimum intrusions are made to the trees in order to meet engineered specifications.
  • Stage VII:  Extensive testing, final pruning, and installation of necessary security measures are performed prior to initial training.

Built with harmony, precision and balance.
